Weekly Tarot Reading

I got a new deck of cards! It's the Dune Bene Gesserit Tarot Deck, and time spent getting familiar with them has shown me these will be cards I want to use often. I created a reading a couple of years ago that is based on the Litany Against Fear, and I now have the perfect cards for doing that reading! I promise I will share it here, but we're just doing three cards today.

These weekly readings are quick general readings to give something to focus on or think about for the week. If you want a personal reading, I have spots open. There are tarot, tarot and oracle cards, and dice divination readings for you to choose from. Readings are emailed to you as a detailed pdf report that walks you through my whole process. I can tell you now that I'll probably use the Dune deck often for the Life Journey reading.

(Three tarot cards laid out in a row. From left to right: Five of Crysknives (Swords), The Fool, and Justice. The rest of the cards are face down in a nearby stack, and there's also a knitted drawstring bag that holds the cards when they aren't being used.)

There may be something that you have committed yourself to so fully, even though it's a fight you can't win, that it is now consuming you. It doesn't necessarily mean you committed to the wrong thing, but you may have committed yourself the wrong way. Maybe the only reason you "can't win" is that you've set unrealistic expectations for yourself that don't have to be requirements for success.

What once looked like an important part of your journey may just be an obstacle now. Personally, I prefer a good plan over "trust the process", but sometimes trusting the process is necessary. You don't have to completely abandon your plan, but maybe it's time to reevaluate and make some changes. You won't get what you're seeking just because you wanted it so intensely. If what you're doing is a dead end, it's time to adjust course.
