Weekly Tarot Reading

We're back to using cards for our weekly readings, and I'm using the Wildwood deck today.

In this deck, Cups are Vessels and Bows are Wands.

A time of rebirth is not comfortable. It may be something you want, like getting a new job and moving to a place you've wanted to live for some time. It still comes with a lot of tearing things down so you can rebuild them, or build new things from them. That can seriously wear on you. And some rebirths just are not a happy event at all.

When you've made it through, the new life on the other side can be exhilarating! Or maybe you're assuming it will be since you're still in all the joy of "YES! I made it! I won!" 

You might want to make a plan, though, to make sure you keep going. You deserve the joy, but it will burn out if you don't have a way to keep feeding that fire. The treasures of yesterday can easily turn into today's junk and clutter if you don't put them to use.

A different way to use "Art Grimoire"

I really wanted to work on my Art Grimoire map one day. I didn't want to do the normal rolling the d6 to find out which Mystery I would be working on. I just wanted to work on the map I already had going in my book.  So I did! (Fantasy map of an island drawn in a sketchbook. There are strange symbols in various place on the land and water, some forests and sea creatures, and places marked with warnings in red ink.) Maps are an easy thing to stay focused on while still seeing your sorcerer's sanity numbers go up and down. The cards, which raise and decrease sanity, are a big part of the prompts for maps. 3 Card Tarot Reading Example

Sharing my writing is easier than sharing divination readings. I can tell you that my writing is available  on itchio  or through  my ko-fi  and you can go see what looks interesting to you. I can even share little bits and pieces of things now and then.  Divination? Well, I can tell you where to go to  request a reading . I don't share information about readings I do for clients, though, and each reading is unique. I can't share a piece of what you'll be getting the way I can with my writing. Forest Tales

I was getting ready to write about what I've been playing with recently when it comes to poetry, when I realized I'll have to do that some other time because I still haven't posted about Forest Tales !  (Cover of Forest Tales  by LK Nesse.
