Weekly Tarot Reading

I've made information about divination services that I offer available, but I admit I don't usually talk about it much because I talk about my writing a lot more. Or, if you follow me on social media then you know I've been talking about my plants lately. 

I want to change that. The talking about divination part. (I'm going to keep talking about plants.) I'm going to work on giving a quick, general reading for the new week on Sundays or Mondays. And we may as well start with this week! 

Three cards from the Rhythm and Soul Tarot. 3 of Roots (Pentacles), 9 of Jazz (Wands), and The Devil.

We start with there being something that needs to be group work, but then it feels like a lot of work is being done alone. That doesn't stop it from happening, but it does make the work seem harder. Maybe also slower.

Then we look at what The Devil has to say about this. Maybe you are working alone, but it would be because you've somehow put yourself in that position. Or maybe you feel like you're alone because you're not paying attention and giving credit to others.

The Devil warns us that we are creating our own obstacles. Think of him as a liberator in that way! If you get that warning and take a serious look at how you may be sabotaging yourself, then you know where you need to make changes. You aren't as alone as you think you are.

A different way to use "Art Grimoire"

I really wanted to work on my Art Grimoire map one day. I didn't want to do the normal rolling the d6 to find out which Mystery I would be working on. I just wanted to work on the map I already had going in my book.  So I did! (Fantasy map of an island drawn in a sketchbook. There are strange symbols in various place on the land and water, some forests and sea creatures, and places marked with warnings in red ink.) Maps are an easy thing to stay focused on while still seeing your sorcerer's sanity numbers go up and down. The cards, which raise and decrease sanity, are a big part of the prompts for maps. Sharing my writing is easier than sharing divination readings. I can tell you that my writing is available  on itchio  or through  my ko-fi  and you can go see what looks interesting to you. I can even share little bits and pieces of things now and then.  Divination? Well, I can tell you where to go to  request a reading . I don't share information about readings I do for clients, though, and each reading is unique. I can't share a piece of what you'll be getting the way I can with my writing. A Blanket Made of Stories

I'm knitting a blanket. Again. I don't mean that I'm knitting another blanket, but that I've gone back to working on a blanket that was put away for a few years. I'm going to talk about sports for a minute, but stick with me. It all comes together.  I'm not a sports person. I've always been that one person in groups of family and friends that just doesn't care about any sport. I at least understand baseball. Okay, I understand the basics of it. I figure not caring about sports fits in with not caring about watching gamers streaming games, and being mostly immune to doomscrolling and Fear of Missing Out.
