A Different Dice Reading

We're on our third dice reading celebrating my book Roll for Divination! being out for a year! I'm doing a different type of reading than I've done the past couple of weeks, and it's also one I teach you how to do in the book. The book has much more in-depth explanations than I give in these quick weekly readings, and this will take you to all the available options for buying it

We're looking at what a yes/no/maybe reading for the coming week. The focus is on success in what one is working on this week. These are general readings for advice, so I can't look at specific things that only apply to maybe one or two people.

We've got two d10s, one being percentile (10, 20, 30, etc instead of 1, 2, 3, 4 etc) and having landed on 20, the other having landed on 2.

My first thought was, "It's a follow-up to last week's reading!" It already stood out last week that all three dice landed on 2, so it was a surprise to have it happen again this week. Rolling dice is different from cards, so it's not a case of getting the same results because the deck wasn't shuffled well enough.

We already discussed last week how the number 2 is about partnerships and close relationships, so most of what I need to explain this week is how this reading works.

I always read the number that ends in zero first. It works as a marker so that my bias from knowing the meanings of the numbers can't influence which one is read first. Functionally, these numbers are both 2.

Getting two even numbers means the reading predicts success! In a general advice reading like this, I see that more as advice for achieving success. With the 2s, that advice would be about working with someone. That could mean now is the time to start a new collaborative partnership, or it could mean something that's been looking too big to handle on your own needs you to ask for help instead of waiting for it to get easier.

While this is not one of the readings I offer for clients, you can get a personal reading from me that is emailed to you as a detailed pdf report. Choose from tarot, tarot and oracle cards, and dice reading options.
